Edition Details & Media Type

The Fine Art Prints & the Giclée Canvas Wraps are printed by ColourMaster Images UK Limited in Leicestershire, UK.

Photo Rag

  • The Fine Art Prints use Hahnemühle Photo Rag Bright White 310gsm. This paper is a smooth, bright white 100% rag based paper; which provides the weight of an art paper with a smooth calendered surface, to pick up every detail captured in the photograph. It is designed to give extra brilliance to both colour and monochrome images and excellent image sharpness.
  • Printing onto Photo Rag with Ultrachrome lightfast pigment inks gives a traditional look and feel combined with extraordinary lightfastness.
  • The Limited Edition is limited to 150 each picture. Each print will be individually signed by the artist - Clive Nichols. The prints will also be numbered

Giclée Canvas Wraps

  • The Canvas is printed on 340 gms 100% Cotton Canvas and will be limited to either 20 or 50 copies as specified on the individual image.
  • They are hand stretched onto bespoke hardwood frames prior to hand finishing with a liquid laminate.
  • Each canvas print will have a certificate signed by the artist, which will also be numbered.
  • A "giclée" print is a piece of printed artwork or photograph produced by using a high quality digital inkjet printer.

File Format Guide

Please use the highest resolution setting available to you on your digital camera, superfine will give the best results.

  • Tiff files are preferred, but we also accept Jpegs saved at maximum although these are 'lossy' and so some detail in the image may be lost.
  • Please provide images created at 150 dpi or greater, as a general rule the largest size your image can be printed (in inches) can be determined by dividing the pixel height and width of your image by 100. For example if your image is 1200 pixels by 1600 pixels, then the maximum recommended size it can be printed is 12 inches by 16 inches, and a size smaller than this would be preferred to avoid pixelation.
  • If you require a Gallery Wrap and do not want to lose any of your image then please ALLOW an extra 2" (5cm) on each edge or request a 'mirrored edge' when ordering. We always supply an emailed wrap proof to illustrate which parts of the image will appear on the front of the canvas and which parts will appear on the sides.
